Beginning operations on the Japanese island of Shikoku in 1949, Panasonic Healthcare Co., Ltd. was incorporated as Matsushita Kotobuki Electronics Industries, Ltd. in 1969. Over the years, with the aim of delighting our customers, we have invested heavily in R&D and marketed innovative customer-centric products.In April 2018, Panasonic Healthcare Co., Ltd. will change its name to PHC Corporation.

“Healthcare with Precision” sums up PHC’s vision of supporting all who aspire to good health with precision products created using high-level technology. PHC supplies devices and services to medical care sites utilizing our precision technologies from the desire to support doctors in their diagnoses and, in turn, the health of patients.
To satisfy the needs of medical care facilities, PHC needs high-level technological capabilities that enable us to create precision products. With this in mind, we approached the design of our new brand mark from scratch, without reference to current typefaces. To bring this new design to life, we focused on precision, eliminating any vagueness as much as possible, and created the fonts from only straight lines and perfect circles. In addition, we gave the curved forms of the “P” and “C” lateral symmetry and placed the “H” for healthcare at the center, expressing our approach of diligently attending to each and every matter in regard to our customers and society.
